Kiersten sporting her cousin Markell's goggles. Markell has stayed with us since Wednesday and they have had so much fun together!! I am going to be sad when she leaves on Saturday and I am sure Kiersten will be too!

100 Years
June 25th my Great Grandma Carla is celebrating her 100th birthday!! She is such an amazing woman. She has been such a great example to me. I have learned so much from her. Some of my earliest childhood memories are those of days spent with Grandma Carla playing "trucker" in front of our big sliding glass door. I was her "little Rosie" she was "Gutenhighmer", and my sister was "Kirby." Grandma had quite the imagination. I was very fortunate to live next door to her until I moved away for college. I spent alot of time at Grandma Carla's and I cherish the memories that I have with her, there are so many! I always knew that whenever I needed anything from a cup of milk, or a shoulder to cry on, Grandma Carla would be right there for me. I am also very grateful that Kiersten is able to know her Great Great Grandma. I love my grandma very much and hope she has the best birthday ever!

It's a.....
As mentioned in a previous post, I am going to be an aunt in October!! Well my sister had her ultrasound today and It's a Girl!!! I am so excited for her!
In other news, Kiersten has finally decided it is ok to use the potty! I told her we needed to give melissa the diapers for her new baby and that seemed to do the trick. She has been doing really good at letting me know it is time to go! When we first started potty training, I would make Kiersten try every hour or so. Around the second day it had been about an hour since the last try and I told Kiersten that in 10 minutes we would try again. A couple minutes had passed after I had told her that and she came up to me and said "mom its seven minutes, its seven" I was a bit confused but quickly caught on and we ran to the potty. So now whenever she has to go potty she says "its seven"
I would also like to apologize for not posting any pictures lately. We got a new camera and have yet to put the pictures on the computer. I am hoping to do that soon.

Pamper Me
Let me just say Kiersten has her daddy wrapped around her little finger!!!
This is Steve giving Kiersten a massage. She now asks her daddy for a massage everyday!
These are just some other random photos that I would like to share
The other day Kiersten came running in from kitchen very excited. She told me she had hung goofy on the fridge and to come and see. I thought she had just hung the goofy magnet we have on the fridge. I was wrong and this is what I saw...it made me laugh!

"Hoppy" Easter
Hope you all had a great Easter weekend, we did. We spent the weekend in Gunnison with my family. We didn't do anything too "egg"citing but managed to have a little fun. Kiersten made a haul this Easter with all the candy and toys. The highlight was her Little Einstein Rocket. The easter bunny must have known that is one of her favorite shows to watch. She also got some clothes, coloring books, puzzles, and a tinkerbell blanket made by her Grandma Angela. Since the weather wasn't that great we hid eggs around the house for Kiersten to find. She lost interest after finding about 3 eggs. We ended the weekend with dinner at my sisters house. Enjoy the pictures
Here is Kiersten modeling her new tinkerbell shirt to match her blanket.
The Rocket!!!
Looking for eggs!
Off to church in her new Easter dress.

LOL
Yesterday my sister and her husband Dave came up to visit. We all went out to dinner to celebrate Dave's birthday. After dinner, Steve and Dave went to the Priesthood session of conference. Melissa, Kiersten and I went over to the mall to look around. Just for fun I told Melissa we should go to the Motherhood maternity clothing store so she could try on some clothes. She agreed. At this store they have a "belly" you can strap on to see how your clothes will fit. We picked out a couple of outfits for Melissa to try. As she was in the dressing room, I could hear her giggling. She then opened the door to show us the outfit. Kiersten took one look at her and says "holy crap wissa!!"
These pictures have nothing to do with the above story, but I thought they were cute and her grandma's are probably wanting an updated picture. Kiersten wanted her fingernails painted the other day. The second picture, I asked her to show me her fingernails so I could take a picture of them and that is the pose I got!!!
